The San Diego Union, Sunday Morning, September 14, 1919 - BURGAN September 11, 1919, Mrs Ora S. Burgan, widow of the late Fred L. Burgan, mother of Minnie K. Burgan now at Cour DeLane, Idaho, sister of the Gov. of Wyoming, Frank L. Houx of Cheyenne, Wyoming. A native of Missouri, aged 54 years. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 10 o'clock am Monday, September 15th, at the parlour of Smith Randall Meacham corner 6th and Cedar St. Dr. E. A Halfenbeck officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Article in the Higginsville paper February 4, 1898. Listed under Mayview items - Miss Ora Houx, candidate for the office of recorder, was here Monday evening. Miss Houx has many friends and will make a strong race.
