Fenton, David J. Sr, age 68 of Okeana passed away on December 31, 2016. He was born on August 31, 1948 and was the son of George and Mildred Fenton of West Jefferson, Ohio. David was a graduate of West Jefferson High School.
Beloved husband for 47 years of Carmen (Schellhaas) Fenton. Loving father of David Jr. (Andrea) Fenton. Cherished grandpa of Andrew, Alexander, Pete, William, and Kate. Dear brother of George Jr. "Jerry" (Pat) Fenton of West Jefferson, Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Larry and many loving furry kids.
He was employed in Columbus at George Byers and Sons before becoming the owner of Dave's Parts Outlet and then retiring and relocating to Okeana. David was a very generous man who cherished his family and will be missed tremendously.
Visitation will take place on Thursday January 5, 2017 from 12pm until time of Funeral Services at 2pm at the Minges Funeral Home 10385 New Haven Rd, Harrison, Ohio 45030. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisville Weimeraner Rescue in care of Denise A. King 16810 Highway 62 Charlestown, Indiana 47111
