Deceased, the son of the late Michael Carr and Elsie Bassett Carr, was born on the old Carr homestead, Feb. 23, 1856. He has always resided in Sloansville and vicinity. He was a man who will be greatly missed in his home, community and church. He was a member of the Sloansville Baptist church and held the office of church treasurer at the time of his death. On Oct. 25, 1883, Mr. Carr was united in marriage to Miss Lena Garber of Seward, who survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Allen Lewis of Altamont, Mrs. Millard Pangburn of Cobleskill and Mrs. Mary Stevens of Albany; 3 grandchildren, Elsie, Mildred and M.
