Howard N. Palmer age 81 passed away on Thursday June 15, 2017.

Howard was born on April 14, 1936, the son of Norton and Alice (McGowen) Palmer. Howard married Agnes Dervin on August 8, 1956 in New London, WI.

Howard served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during the Korean Conflict.

He was a supervisor at Simmons Juvenile Products in New London for many years.

He enjoyed wood working, carving, fishing, enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica that he taught himself to play and spending time with his grandchildren.

Howard is survived by his children Brian (Jean) Palmer of New London, WI, Carrie (Larry) Katerzynske of New London, WI, Barb ( Fiancé Mark Zitelsberger) Packey of Appleton, WI, Jeffrey (Ginara) Palmer of Iola, WI, Kathleen (Greg) Feldkamp of Appleton, WI, Lynnie Winters of Waupaca, WI and Terry (Tregg) Fuerst of New London, WI; grandchildren David (Courtney) Palmer, Tracy Palmer, Jason (Kristin) Jones, Ashley (Mike) Murphy, Lindsey (Ben) Uvaas, Garrett (special friend Lauren) Katerzynske, Justin (special friend Rose) Mares, Danielle (Derek) Rice, Erin Mares, Jeffrey (Fiancé Audrey Papeneau), Samuel Palmer, Shira and Lara Palmer, April and Adam Steffek, Jacob Feldkamp, Tasha and Bailey Winters, Whitney Fuerst and Tristin (special friend Kaylee) Fuerst; great grandchildren McKenna, Henley, Everett, Kit, Morgan, Nolan, Logan, Noah, Chase and Mason; one brother Milton (Merilyn) Palmer of Manawa, WI; his beloved pet Molly, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents Norton and Alice Palmer; his wife Agnes Palmer; brother Gordon Palmer; step siblings Guy, Clarence and Glenn Jensen, Charlotte Westphal, Irene Hamel and Edna Spencer.

A private family graveside service with Military Honors will be held at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
