Wilma A. Payne age 83 of Fairfield passed away Thursday June 15, 2017. She was born November 11, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy and Lucille (Geisler) Scarth. On April 29, 1975 she married Clifford D. Payne, Jr. Mrs. Payne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who loved quilting. She is survived by her husband Cliff Payne; two children Larry (Sharon) Farthing and Rick (Anna Marie) Farthing; two step children Douglas (Nashana) Payne and Lora Payne; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two brothers Melvin (Darlene) Scarth and Elmer Scarth. Mrs. Payne was also preceded in death by her siblings Eugene Scarth, Mildred Hale, and Hazel Warman. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday June 19, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Wally Miller, officiating. Entombment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
