Charles "Chuck" Dashiell, 75, of Georgetown, TX passed away Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Scott and White Medical Center, Temple, TX.

Chuck was born on May 23, 1942 in Spokane, WA to RL and Helen (Schell) Dashiell, the oldest of three children.

Chuck married Judy VanNort on June 15, 1963 in Marlin, WA. This marriage was blessed with two wonderful daughters and a son.

Chuck joined the United States Air Force in November 1960 and was honorably discharged in April 1969, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. After the Air Force, he worked as a Field Service Manager at The 3M Company for 33 years.

After retiring to Sun City in 2002, he became an active member of the Worship Place, running the sound system and donating his time helping out with various jobs around the church. Chuck was a generous man, always ready to help anyone. He also enjoyed wood working and photography.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He took great pride in all of his accomplishments. He was especially proud of his daughters and their families. His unwavering love for his wife will be a cherished family treasure.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Richard, and his brother in law Rich McKinney.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy of Georgetown; daughters, Tina Moen and husband Mitch of Eldridge, IA, and Diana Hundley and husband Chris of Georgetown; Sisters, Jeannette Wraspir and husband Gary of Lacey, WA, and Kathy Ann McKinney of Sacramento, CA; Grandchildren, Nickolas Reese of Eldridge, IA, Madison and Logan Woodward and Jaiden Hundley and wife Tristin all of Georgetown; Great-grandchildren, Liam Reese and Rylan Hundley. And his special fur baby, Shelby Girl. Also, many, many family members and special friends.

A private service for the family at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Killeen, is planned for a later date.
