Survived by wife, Mary E.; four sons, Robert, Theodore, Edward and Jerome Marion of Springfield; seven granddaughters, Mrs. Frances Wheeler, Mrs. Mollie Sturgis, Mrs. Mary Ellen Clemons, Mrs. Barbara Seward and Miss Theresa Marion of Springfield, Mrs. Patricia Sronce of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Margaret Brower, Gas City, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hennessey and Mrs. Sarah Stotts of Springfield; a brother, Edward [sic?, Edgar?] Marion of Athens; two half brother, Homer and Henry Marion of Springfield; three half-sisters, Mrs. Rose Smith of Springfield and Mrs. Inez Stoneking and Mrs. Catherine Lawson; stepmother, Mrs. Hattie Birdsell of Springfield; 30 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were at Kirlin & Egan Funeral Home.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
