A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Thelma Fowler, 95, who passed away June 15, 2017 at her daughter's home in Lafayette.
Interrment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl F. (Dan) Ducote of Lafayette, and Shelley F. (Karl) LeBlanc of Kingwood, TX; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Mouton Fowler of Carencro; one sister, Betty Doucet of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Dan) Pruitt of Kingwood, TX, Stephanie (Thad ) Bernard of Lafayette, Jessica (Shane) Roger of Youngsville, and Shawn Fowler of Lafayette; nine great-grandchildren, Nicholas Rabalais, Chloe Rabalais, Miranda Bernard, Jude Bernard, Parker Schulte, Paxton Schulte, Tripp Pruitt, Lilly Roger, and Ava Roger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Fowler; her parents, the former Yolande Thibodeaux and Claude Zimmerman; one son, William C. Fowler; two sisters and their spouses, Mildred and Roy Martin, and Velma and Ed Narramore; and one brother-in-law, Robert Doucet.
