Also surviving are eleven sons, David (Mary), Frank (Patricia), Kenneth (Debra), James (Cheryl), Ronald (Joan), Kevin (Ann) and Jeffrey, all St. Henry, Donald (Teresa), Columbus, Gregory (Jennifer), Rockford, Michael, Atlanta, Ga., and Randal (Ann), Delaware; four daughters, Kathryn (Carl) Hart, Nancy and Susan, all St. Henry, Virginia (Douglas) Seitz, Coldwater; 34 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one brother Merinus (Alice), Maria Stein; and a brother-in-law Cyril Link, Burkettsville.

He attended St. Henry Church. He was a member of Veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving during WWII; Member of Maria Stein American Legion, Past St. Henry School Board member and a member of the St. Henry Parish Council during the building of the St. Catechetical Center. He was retired as a general Foreman at the former Avco New Idea Plant in Coldwater.
