Iris Rosie Lewis Wilson, 90, Irisburg, passed away on June 23, 2022.

She was born in Patrick County on October 29, 1931 to the late Early Cline Lewis and Edna Boyd.

She was also preceded by her husband of 63 years, Johnnie Bema Wilson; son, Michael Ray Wilson; sister, Gerolean Marie Lewis Webb; and three brothers, Garry Paul Lewis, Arzie Leon Lewis and Franklin Delano Lewis.

She retired from CSI in Ridgeway and was a faithful member of Irisburg United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the United Methodist Women's Group.

She is survived by daughters, Karen Wilson (Lewis Michael) Parrish and Linda Wilson (James Franklin) Cox; seven grandchildren: Benjamin (Jennifer) Parrish, Jordan (Lauren) Parrish, James (Ashley) Cox, III, Katelyn (Benjamin) Peters, Lindsey (Kyle) Puckett, Emily (Joseph) Norman and Zachary Wilson; great-grandchildren: Bernadette and Benjamin Parrish, Chloe and Anna Parrish, Lila and Maylee Cox, Caleb, Luke and Seth Peters, and Korbin and Krew Puckett; sister, Annie Salmons; brother, John "Mac" Lewis; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Wilson (Robert Eddie).

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Norris Funeral Services with the Rev. Brian Mallary officiating with Eulogist Frankie Cox.

Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville.
