OBITUARY: Died at the Christian Hospital in St. Louis, Sunday afternoon December 8, 1912, at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 5 days, Amaziah James. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church in Bowen, Illinois on Wednesday, Dec 11, at 10 o'clock a.m. Friends invited. Interment at the Irwin Cemetery.
NOTE: Amaziah buried at the Bowen Abbey, in Bowen Illinois, rather than Irwin cemetery which is located in Plymouth, Illinois.
NOTE: Amaziah was the second child of Thomas and Salome to be named Amaziah the oldest Amaziah having died as a young child. Amaziah came from Scawby, Lincolnshire, England with four brothers in 1855. Siblings - all born Scawby, Lincolnshire, England
