Delmar Glen Nokes, age 59 died Wednesday Nov. 26, 2014 at Stones River Hospital E/R. He was a native of Cannon County.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lori Rigsby Nokes of Short Mountain Community; Children, Toby Reece Nokes of Smithville & Brock Gabriel (Jennifer) Nokes of Buffalo Valley; Grandchildren, Jayde, Tayvian, Desmond, Lindsey, Justice, Alivia, Alexis, & Paige Nokes; Sister, Vicky Jones of Murfreesboro; and Brother, Wade Nokes of Des Moines, Iowa.

He was preceded in death his parents, Dorothy Cope Nokes & Delmar Truman Nokes; and brothers, Mike Woods & Timothy "Alb" Nokes.

Mr. Nokes was a member of the House of Prayer and was retired from Carrier & Nokes Martial Arts for 15 years. He was a national member of WADO-RYU Association.

MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 2 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 with Bro. B.J. Thomason officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12-2 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014.

Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
