Services for Leonard F. Slattery, 72, of 2874 Northaven Road, Davenport, are 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport, where he was a member. Burial is in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.
Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport, with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Care and Share Program, Davenport.

Mr. Slattery died Monday, Feb. 14, 1994, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline.

He was born May 25, 1921, in Rapid City, S.D., the son of James P. and Margaret Striegel Slattery. He married Louetta Arp in 1948, in Davenport.

He attended St. Ambrose College and Brown's Business College.
He was employed as a senior buyer at Bendix Corp., Davenport, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus 532, Loras Council Fourth Degree; Davenport Elks; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 828.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was interested in all sports.

Survivors include the widow; daughters Linda Betts and Luann Seier, both of Bettendorf, Laura Hensler, Davenport, Lisa Gilbert, Orlando, Fla., and Carol Werthmann, Durant, Iowa; sons Terence Slattery, Davenport, Ronald Slattery, St. Louis, and Kenneth Slattery, Danville, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; sisters Mary Seward, Davenport, and Wilma O'Brien, Palm Beach Garden, Fla.; and brothers Maurice Slattery, Davenport, Duane Slattery, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Cmdr. John Slattery, U.S. Navy retired, Chula Vista, Calif.
