Anne P. Ali, 86, of Cape Coral died February 17, 2007. Anne was born in Hackensack, N.J. the daughter of the late Adolph and Eva Merkin. She was the founder and past president of the Long Island Professional Photographers Association of New York. Anne received many award for outstanding photography and received a special honor when the association created the "Jon Ali Founder Cup". She and her husband Paul moved to Cape Coral from Long Island, N.Y. in 1971, she was the founder of the Cape Coral Coin Collectors Club, she was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Mrs. Ali was predeceased by her husband Paul and her son Paul Jr., she is survived by her loving brother and sister in law Jack and June Merkin of Carterville, IL.,, her nephew John (Lisa) Merkin of Atlanta, Ga., her niece Jackie (Daniel) Defabio Kansas City Mo.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be conducted in St. Andrew Catholic Church
