ALBION—Our beautiful mother, Vivian Marie (Gee) Clark passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Vivian was born in Summerfield, New Brunswick, Canada on October 5, 1920, the middle child of Merrill and Amy (Green) Gee.

On December 28, 1940, Vivian married Glenn Clark and they moved to Albion with Glenn's family. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage.

In 1949, Glenn and Vivian moved to the house on East Benton Road in Albion and remained there until Glenn's passing in 2009. There are so many memories in our old house that we all will remember. Christmas night was always spent having rolls and coffee all together. Vivian enjoyed her birthday group friends, Donna Virginia, Fran, Elaine, Aunt Carol and Aunt Evelyn. She also was a member of the Albion Extension ladies group. New Year's Eve was always a special time with Leland and Donna along with Ervin and Virginia and anyone else that wanted to come. Many happy times with our Canadian family who were always there for our family events and celebrations.

We were truly blessed to have our parents as role models who showed us respect and taught us what being in a family really meant. Our mother was the heart of our home and she was the ultimate wife and mother. She sewed and preserved and always had something wonderful to eat for whoever stopped by.

Vivian is survived by her son, Graydon Clark (Kayan) and their children, Sarah (Jeremy), Deanna (Rick), and Matthew (Crystal); her daughter, Pamela Gilbert (Ray), and their children, Amy (Brian), Jennifer (Andre), Holly (Jeff), Brian (Amanda), and Chris (Aimee); her daughter in law, Tami and children, Violet (Tim), John (Michelle), Joy (Chris), Tonya, and Chauncey; many greatgrandchildren and great greatgrandchildren.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Glenn L. Clark; her son, Leland; and her great grandson, Alexander L. Hathaway. She is also predeceased by Phyllis, Dorothy, Manson, and Kathleen as she is the last member of her siblings to pass away.

We would like to thank all of her special caregivers; her granddaughters, Violet and Joy; her great granddaughter, Sierra; and special family friend, Donna Mae. We so appreciated Dr. Forrest West and the Maine Hospice Nurses and caregivers, Dawn and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the LN Clark Inspiration Network in memory of Leland Nelson Clark, P.O. Box 392, Fairfield, ME 04937 or to the NICCU at Eastern Maine Healthcare Charities in memory of great grandson, Alexander L. Hathaway, P.O. Box 931, Bangor, ME 04401-0931.

Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Albion. (Lawry Brothers Funeral Home)
