Services for Connie Warren, 74, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with the Revs. Doug Herrell, Danny Hammer and Dr. Barry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Park Cemetery.

Mr. Warren died Tuesday (May 17, 2005) at Cartmell Home for Aged.

He was born February 18, 1931, in Anderson County to Genie T. and Curlee Johnston Warren.

Mr. Warren had lived in Anderson County all of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and was a food supply salesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Buck Warren, L.B. "Buddy" Warren and W.G. Warren; and sister, Juanita Forshee.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat Warren of Palestine; son, Stephen Warren and wife Terri of Palestine; daughter, Paula Barnes and husband Larry of Palestine; grandchildren, Shauna Herrington and husband Michael, Jason Barnes and wife Jo'Anna, Cale Warren, Stacey Barnes and Joe Garcia, and Zach Warren; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Christian, Kaitlyn, Kyndal and Madison; brothers, James Warren and wife Dale and Charles Warren and wife Wanda; sisters-in-law, Opal Warren and Thelma Warren, all of Palestine; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Barnes, Cale Warren, Zach Warren, Michael Herrington, Bill Gruetzner, Joe Garcia and Bob McKelvey. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike and Gary Johnston, Bo Vickers and Robbie Stewart.
