James E. Warren, age 83, of Palestine, Texas died July 9, 2012 at Cartmell Home for Aged in Palestine. Burial in Wheelock Cemetery in Flo, Leon County, Texas is under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine. He was born February 22, 1929 in Anderson County to Genie Toombs Warren and Ora Curlee Johnston Warren. He worked for Knox Glass Container for 37 years. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Juanita Forshee; and brothers, Buck, Buddy, W.G., and Connie Warren. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Laura Dale Warren; daughter, Cathy Hunter; brother, Charles Warren; and two grandchildren.
