Marsell Isbell, 83, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. A visitation for friends and family will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Colbert Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. Marsell worked many years for L & L Services with his brother-in-law, Bob Love.

Marsell is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Edna Isbell; daughter, Misty Isbell; brothers, Gunter and Ray Isbell; and sister, Josephine Oliver.

He is survived by his wife of 58 wonderful years, Mary Love Isbell; daughters, Deborah Isbell Parker and Donna Curenton Kelley; brothers, Tom Isbell (Virginia) and Doug Isbell (Susan); sisters, Mary Jane Lackey, Donnie Byrd, and Tina Tverberg; grandchildren, Justin Allred (Leanne), Aundrea Poole (Jason), Christin Whittle (Corey), and Brent Allred (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Eric, Rivers, and John-Paul; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 1000 Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148 and to the Local American Legion Post 31, 110 1/2 N Main Street, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
