Linda Wray Denson, aged 75, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on 16 November, 2015. She was the wife of Dr. William J. Denson, 3002 Sea Pines Place, League City, Texas 77573. She is preceded in death by her father, William A. Templeton; her mother, Willie B. Templeton; her sister, Peggy T. Woolridge; and her first born son, William J. Denson, Jr. She leaves behind to dwell in her faith, her husband; children of her first son, John: William John Denson Jr., Mandy, and David; second son, Albert, and his wife Tracie Denson, and their sons, A.J. and Gabriel of Dallas, Texas; her third son, Richard, and his wife, Linda Denson, and their son, Skyler, from Galveston, Texas. Also, the best sister ever in Kathy T. Anderson (Larry) from Tupelo, MS as well as her dearest friends, Don and Olene Edwards of Houston, TX.

She was married to William J. Denson on April 19, 1957, in Starkville, Mississippi, her home town. Linda was a devoted mother and friend. The best part of her life was being a founding member of the Sagemont Baptist Church, and her most enjoyable memory was teaching the eighth grade Sunday School Class at Sagemont. She only worked outside the home for 90 days of her life. With the funds she made, she bought her husband a Mississippi State Class Ring which was not affordable when he graduated from college. It was a perfect gift from a lifetime of love and affection to her children and husband.

Linda is from Starkville, Mississippi, which is where she and her husband both grew up. John states, "We were married on April 19, 1957. Our marriage ceremony was conducted by our lifelong friend, Jimmie Morris, and his wife, Dwain. Linda wanted to renew marriage vows with me again, but even though we arranged the ceremony, she was never physically able to complete the ceremony. I am very sorry that she was never able to do this." She was a "Mississippi" girl and truly took pride in her home town and State. The Densons moved to Texas in 1966 which is where John learned that you can't take the "Mississippi" out of a "Mississippi woman." I am so happy and proud to be married to one of the flowers of Mississippi.

To all of you who knew her, she is a wonderful wife, mother, and companion. Her days were numbered on Earth, but they are unnumbered in Heaven where she is now. So long for NOW, My Love, and God bless and keep you until we are together again - Forever.
