When Yetta Leibovitz was born in 1875 in Romania, her father, Baruch, was 25. She married Morris Moskowitz in 1896 in her hometown in Romania. She emigrate to America ca 1900, and settled for more than a decade in Manhattan before finally putting down roots in Brooklyn, where she lived out the remainder of her life. Together, Yetta and Morris had three children during their marriage. She died on November 7, 1950, at the age of 75, and was buried in Staten Island, New York.
