RAYMOND STRACK
Retired Nyack Policeman

Raymond Strack, a Nyack po-
liceman for 26 years before re-
tiring in 1957, died suddenly yes-
terday. He was 66 years old and
lived at 85 Quaker Road, Mt. Ivy
for the past three years.

Born in Nyack, Mr. Strack
had lived in that community un-
til he moved to his Mt. Ivy resi-
dence three years ago. Follow-
ing his retirement he worked as
a guard for the Nyack office of
the Marine Midland Trust Co.
He was a member of the Police-
men's Benevolent Association.

He is survived by his wife, the
former Frances Summers at home,
a sister Mrs. Helen Christian
of Mt. Ivy; a brother Fred of
Hopkinton, Mass.; and two
step-sons David Steiner of
West Nyack and Raymond Xiques
of Nyack.

Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hugh
E. White Funeral Home, S. Broad-
way, Nyack.

Friends may call today from 3-5
p.m. and tomorrow from 3-5 and
7-9 p.m.
