Mrs. Sarah Harlan Services Set Today.
Services for Mrs. Sarah Harlan [nee Sarah "Sallie" Elizabeth Bowman], 83, 2114 23rd St., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Primitive Baptist Church [in Lubbock]. The Rev. Elder W. Fox, pastor of the Primitive Baptist Church of Amarillo, and the Rev. H. H. Garrett, pastor of the Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Plain View Cemetery [in Dawson County], 12 miles south of O'Donnell.
Survivors include two daugthers [sisters], Mrs. R[obert]. E. Austin [nee Margaret "Maggie" Bowman], 2114 23rd St., and Mrs. Ed C. Russell [nee Susan "Sudie" Bowman], O'Donnell.
Mrs. Harlan died at Sloan's Convalescent Home, 1508 Ave Q at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday where she had been staying for the past four days.
