Debbie Goosen Clark, 46, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at her home.
Debbie Lou Goosen Clark was born March 16, 1960, in Amarillo, the daughter of Jack and Bonnie Lou Morris Goosen.

Debbie resided most of her life in Hooker. She attended and graduated from Hooker High School with the Class of 1978.

While in Hooker, she was employed by the Hooker First National Bank as a file clerk and Hooker Public Schools as a special education paraprofessional. In the meantime, she graduated from Liberal Cosmetology School, later joining her dad at Jack's Barber Shop to cut hair. Debbie enjoyed writing poetry and won a national award for a lighthearted children's poem entitled "Gobels in my Head," which she presented in Anaheim, Calif.,, with her mother Bonnie.
She was united in marriage to Pete Clark in Huntingron, W.V. on July 20, 2000. They resided in West Virginia and later moved to Oklahoma, making their home in Freedom.

She is survived by her husband, Pete, of Freedom, Okla.; daughters, Darcy Mallard and husband, Grant of Tinker AFB, Okla.; and Jacque Fowler, and her son, Eli Fowler, of Los Angeles; parents, Jack and Bonnie Goosen of Hooker; brothers, Scott Goosen and sister-in-law, Leigh Ann of Oklahoma City; and Tony Goosen and sister-in-law, Kkaren Goosen of Hooker; grandchildren, Eric and Rhiannon Mallard, and along with neices Kristin, Rachael and Lexi Goosen, and nephews, Brandon and Harrison Goosen.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Hooker with Rev. Chuck Samples officiating. Interment will follow in the Hooker Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Inc. of Hooker.
