DIED IN HER 84TH YEAR.
MRS. ELIZABETH KISTLER PASSES AWAY AFTER A YEAR'S ILLNESS.
Mrs. Elizabeth Kistler, daughter of Daniel Achenbach and his wife Elizabeth, nee Hahn, and widow of David Kistler, died this morning at 5.45 o'clock at her home at 510 North Ninth Street, of a complication of diseases and old age. She was in failing health for more than a year. She was born August 8, 1826, in Plainfield Township, Northampton County. Her age was 83 years, 9 months and 20 days. Mrs. Kistler was the last of a family of nine children, seven sons and two daughters. About 45 years ago she was united in marriage to the late David Kistler, who preceded her in death about 21 years ago. She leaves three step-children, Levi Kistler of Allentown, Mrs. Solomon Fliehr of Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. Charles Smith of Philadelphia. She was one of the charter members of the Seibert United Evangelical Church and was a faithful and esteemed member at the time of her death. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
