Mr. Prentiss R. "P R" Williams, 89, a resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. He was born on Friday, June 3, 1927 in Yazoo County to Dora E. Waller Williams and Oscar A. Williams, Sr. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church and was retired as a truck driver for Marshall Durbin. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Williams; mother, Dora E. Williams; father, Oscar A. Williams, Sr.; 4 brothers, Oscar A. "Bill" Williams, Jr., Hershel "Lit" Williams, Hugh Wayne Williams, J C Williams; 5 sisters, Mable Snellgrove, Masie Langley, Mary Styron, Golda Williams, Lillie Bell Williams; grandson, Daniel Williams. He is survived by 2 sons, Rickey Williams (Debbie) of Waynesboro, Kenneth Williams (Wanda) of Copeland, AL; brother, Oscar Van Williams of Waynesboro; 2 sisters, Grace W. Burgess, Ann W. Foxworth both of Waynesboro; 3 grandsons, Josh Williams (Catherine) of Cleveland, Bradley Williams of Copeland, AL, Hunter Williams of Waynesboro; granddaughter, Crimson Williams of Copeland, AL. Visitation for Mr. Williams will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Rev. Dewayne Lofton and Rev. Rickey Williams officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
