"Irving Terbush, 80, of 19 John Street, died at 6 this morning at Wells House, Johnstown, where he had been a patient for about four weeks. He had been in ill health five years. Born Jan. 12, 1891, in Argusville, Schoharie County, he was the son of Edward and Laura (Styles) Terbush. He married Nora Petteys in 1911. She died in 1936. For 25 years, Mr. Terbush operated a dairy farm at Charleston Fourt Corners, later becoming a self-employed carpenter, moving to the Gloversville area about 16 years ago. He retired five years ago because of bad health. Mr. Terbush attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alice Morey of Gloversville; a son, Robert Terbush of Sharon Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Killmartin of Esperance RD and Mrs. Eva Hall of Nelliston; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews."
