Frank Harvell, 52, of Houston, died Tuesday October 12, 1976, at 10:25 a.m., at his home, following an illness of two years. He was born July 26, 1924 in Strabane, the son of Louis Sr. and Johanna Abrams Hervol.
He had been a building contractor the past 29 years and was a veteran of World War II. He was a councilman and Houston Borough since 1971 and a member of the Tri County Burroughs Association. He was a member of American Legion Post 902 in Houston, the Canonsburg Sportsman's Club, St. Jerome's Lodge K.S.K.J., Strabane, S.N.P.J. Lodge No. 138, Strabane and a founder and charter member of this Strabane Sportsman's Club. He was a member of Saint Patrick's Church, Canonsburg and a founder and charter member of the Washington County Home Builders Association.
He is survived by his widow Margaret Christy Hervol, two sons Frank and David, both of Houston, one daughter Kristie, at home; three brothers, Louis of Canonsburg Ludwig of Strabane and Henry of North Strabane Township; four sisters, Mrs. Angeline Polyansky of Crownsville, Md, Mrs. Josephine Fee of Waynesboro Virginia, Mrs. Olga Kennard and Mrs. Agnes Tomyck, both of Strabane.
