Best known as Wallace, she was the daughter of Harvey Carman and Margaret Ellen Sharp. She had four brothers, Henry E., Allen Blue, twins Caleb and Joshua. One sister, Lizzie. The family came to Texas in 1894. Wallace married John Allen Hoskins in 1894, in Collin County, Texas. To that union 11 children were born. The ones known are daughters, Lillie, Lora Bell, Ora, Violet D, Maudie, Bonny, and Nancy. Sons are Archie, John Allen, Jr, and Fred.
