59, husband of Vicki Weare Tackett, died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. John was born in Carlisle, Arkansas October 29, 1957 the son of Shirley Wheatley Tackett and the late Johnny George Tackett.

John had a passion for playing with his grandbabies, the Arkansas Razorbacks and pickleball, being a member of the E.P. Tom Sawyer Pickleball Club "My Gang". He also enjoyed talking politics.

Besides his wife of 40 years and his mother, Shirley Tackett Moore, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Chrissy Haywood (Allen) and Michelle Clark (Kelly), sisters, Vickie Bowen (Ronnie), Connie Laster and Vanessa Troillett (Russell). 4 grandchildren, Caleb Michael, Kasey Morgan, Harper Allen and Carson Patrick also survive. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A service celebrating John's life will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm Tuesday until service time.
