Julia Ann Kent was the first born child of Jimmie Lan Kent and Willo Dean Dunham Kent.

Julia was preceded in death by her mother Willo Dean Dunham Kent, who died at the age of 23 in a fatal car accident when Julia was four-years-old. Julia, her baby sister, her father, and a family friend survived the crash, but her mother did not.

Beginning with the traumatic auto accident and the death of her young mother, Julia experienced various hardships and losses throughout her life. As an adult, she found comfort in her adult-found faith and encouraged others to do the same.

A notable achievment in Julia's life was that during her career with her employer, Caterpillar, she was one of the first women to be specially trained to use the equipment.

In addition to her mother, Julia was also preceded in death by her uncle, Bobby Gene Kent; cousins, Cynthia Denise Kent, William James Kent, and Daniel Clark Kent; and her best friend, Sheila Humphrey.

Julia was survived by her father and stepmother, a Dunham uncle, one sister, two half-sisters, one half-brother, three daughters, and eight grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At the time of her death, Julia Kent was a resident of Alton, Oregon County, Missouri. She died in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri.

Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Nixa, Christian County, Missouri.
