Laura Sue Curry, 66, passed away on February 13, 2007, in Alamogordo.
Ms. Curry was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Kosciusko, Miss., to Oscar Champion and Willie Pearl (Moody) Kelly. She enjoyed decorating, antiques and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to dance, eating candy corn, peanut butter crackers and listen to her children play country music.
Survivors include her two sons, Robin Curry and Sue Britt, and Jason Curry and Julia Lamb; three daughters, Tracy Jett and husband Sean Jett, Misty Hernandez and husband Patrick, and Cheryl Bunker and husband Neal, all of Alamogordo; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Jim Kelly, of California; and a sister, Ann Green, of Alamogordo.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kelly C. Curry; her father, Oscar C. Kelly; and two sisters, Jean Miller and Ruth Doby
Pallbearers will be Patrick Hernandez, Neal Bunker, Sean Jett, Catlin Curry, Tanner Curry and Joaquin Silva.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sheldon Compton, Tyler Curry, Ray Green, Roman Hernandez and Lydon Lyle, Wayne Haddock and Danny Hale.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, in the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Crispin officiating.
Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery.
