John Henry Richardson, 86, passed away on June 1, 2015 at his home in Huntsville, Texas. Born in LaGrange, Kentucky on May 28, 1929 to Hugh and Nellie Richardson, he was one of eight children. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years, as well as driving for the Greyhound bus company for another twenty. He is preceded in death by his parents; as well as his son Anthony Wren Richardson; grandchildren Amy, Angela, Dorothy, and Micah. 

 

John is survived by his wife of 67 years Vivian; daughter Joyce Parrish and husband Randy, son Johnny Wayne Richardson and wife Donna, daughter Peggy S. Bittinger and husband William, daughter Carolyn M. Potter, daughter Dorena S. White and husband Donnie, daughter Tierra N. Fletcher and husband David; as well as his brother David Richardson, and sister Lucille Mills; twenty one grandchildren, and thirty five great-grandchildren. The family would like to make a special thank-you to Thee Hospice of Home Health Care of Huntsville for the love and devotion during our time of need. 

 

A graveside service will be held Friday June 5, 2015 at Brooke Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas at 1P.M. Services are under the direction of Waller-Thornton Funeral Home
