Pearl "Polly" (Lindsey) Humphries, 87, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Born September 4, 1919, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob K. and Martha (Harrison) Lindsey and the wife of the late Major Humphries.
Retired from Beaumont Mills, she was a member of Roselane Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Tisdale and her husband Harold of Spartanburg; a son, Tim Humphries and his wife Tammy of Chesnee; a brother, Lanford Lindsey of Drayton; three grandsons, Robbie Tisdale of Travelers Rest, Rick Tisdale of Roebuck, and Rodney Tisdale of Eugene, OR; two granddaughters, Jeannie Dobson and Jessica Lamb, both of Chesnee; two great-granddaughters, Nicole Barrett of Spartanburg, and Haileigh Dobson of Chesnee; and two great-grandsons, Alex Tisdale of Roebuck, and Heath Dobson of Chesnee.
Visitation was 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services followed at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. David Moore.
