Clarence is survived by his wife, Carol Monroe; son, Clarence Monroe, Jr. and wife, Tammy; daughters, Donna Kennedy and husband, Keith and Tammy Appling and husband, Tommy; sister, Florence Harrison; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at Lisbon Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
