Funeral services for Vivian Jo Cooper, age 87, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Boatright officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cooper, a member of First Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Lagniappe Health Care. She is remembered by her family as having many talents including seamstress work, flower gardening, painting, quilting and jewelry making. Mrs. Cooper loved her family dearly and enjoyed camping with them in the Ozarks. She cherished the laughter of others and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Boatright and husband Allen of Bastrop, LA, Lori Cooper of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Janice Turner and Gladys Loveless both of Jonesboro, AR; brother, Jack Green and wife Sue of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Ashley Cooper, Jodi Cooper, Lance Cooper, Brian King, Jeff Boatright, Phillip Boatright, Mark Boatright, Jacob Corenflos and thirteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Cooper, Sr. and a son, John Thomas Cooper, Jr. (Tommy).

Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons.
