Barbara graduated high school from Upper Dauphin High School in 1961, then went on to get her Bachelors in Nursing from Jefferson University in Philadelphia. After over 40 years of practicing, directing, and teaching nursing, she retired from her post at Kapiolani Community College in Hawaii and moved to Texas.
Barbara had a zest for life- loved God, loved her family and friends, and loved to travel. She is survived by her son, William (Dana) Tredick III, her daughter, Tracy (Alan) Weinman, and her grandsons, Austin and Chase Weinman.
Services in Pennsylvania will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Elizabethville, PA on Saturday, May 27 at 4:30 pm followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery.
