Uncle Bob enjoyed his antique cars and was a member of the G.R. Antique Car Club. He also enjoyed tending his gardens and his camping and fishing years at Big Bend.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shirley; children, Cindy Stebbins, Cheri Parish, and Bob (Sheryl) Stebbins; step children, Terri (Jim) Duthler, Shelly (Cullen) DeWolfe, Brian (Michelle) Amante, and Rob (Claudia) Amante; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Needham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clifford (Dee) Bonn, Howard Bohnstengel, Kay (Jim) Elmer, and Nola (Tom) Norton; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Gizmo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet his family Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home (west building), and Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
