The funeral of the late Margaret Booco was held at the Wolcott schoohouse Monday morning at 10 o'clock. She was laid to rest in the Edwards Cemetery.

The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Ray of Wolcott.

Mrs. Booco died at her home near Wolcott on February 17, 1923, after several weeks of illness. She had been ailing for some months and was confined to her bed the past four weeks. At the time of her death Mrs. Booco was 91 years, 3 months and 4 days of age.

She was born in Ohio in the year 1831 and while yet a child moved to Indiana, where, on December 26 1851 she was united in marriage to William Booca and to this union was born twelve children.

March 1 1879 the Booco family came to Leadville, Colorado, then to Minturn and later to Wolcott, where she has since made her home.

Her husband and seven of their children have already answered the summons to the Great Beyond - four having died in infancy. Nancy Ellen Norman died December 26, 1890 and the father, William Booco January 22, 1919; Bell Owens October 25, 1921.

The surviving children are Isaac and Benjamin of Wolcott, Colo., Alfred of Steamboat Springs, Colo., William of McCoy, Colo., and a duaghter Mrs. Emily Hooper of Indiana.

Mrs. Booco is also survived by eighteen grand children and nineteen great grandchildren.

During her time on this earth Grandma Booco lived a good christian life, ever trusting in God and helping those in trouble. She leaves many friends who grieve to have parted with her, but we know that she is in God's keeping, and will ever be happy and free from suffering and toil.
