He was 28 when he married (marriage bond was dated April 3, 1816 and signed by Hiram Spurlock and Weeks Frazure), married April 4.

Aug 1816 Hiram bought 100 acres "on the Left Fork of Beaver Creek, beginning at David Spurlock's line" from his father for $500. (Left Fork runs down near Printer, KY. Spurlock Creek splits off of it at Printer. Also, Spurlock Fork is about 2 miles to the east, which splits off Prater Creek.)

He probably died in 1832. In a chancery suit by John Hale against Hiram Spurlock the Floyd Co., KY. Court issued a summons for Patsy Spurlock, widow of Hiram Spurlock deceased, and infant heirs to court. Dated Dec. 31 1832. [Thank you to FAG Contributor: Jack (48038696) ]

Spurlock cemetery near Printer is in the area near his land, so it’s probable he was buried there though there is no stone identified. His son, Hiram K. was buried there, along with grandsons, Will and Burl.

In 1820, 1830 they were in Floyd Co, Ky.
In 1840 Martha was still in Floyd Co, Ky.
