– of Birch Run, age 88, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2017, at the Fellowship Baptist Church – 14046 N. Saginaw Rd. in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Burial in Cook Cemetery in Taymouth Township. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 4-8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.
Thea was born September 29, 1928, in Cygnet, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Kitchen) Bateson. She graduated from Perrysburg High School in Ohio and earned her teaching degree at Owosso College. Thea married Raymond Beuthin on June 3, 1950. She was employed as a Pre-school teacher in the Bridgeport School District for several years. Thea was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio. She was also the founder of and very active in the church library ministry. Thea enjoyed cross-stitch, puzzles, cooking, reading and her volunteer work with the food pantry at church.
Surviving are: Husband, Raymond; 3 children: Timothy M. (Deborah) Beuthin of Brownsburg, Indiana, Dawn C. (Robert) Krupka of Wellington, Florida, and Todd R. (Belynda) Beuthin of Burt; 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; Brother, Louis (Shirley) Bateson of Ohio. Thea was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald, and sister, Evelyn.
