Robert J. Vianco, 79, died at 4:45 p.m. on March 2, 2004, in Fort Myers, FL. He had moved there, to Calusa Harbour assisted living, on Feb. 21 from Lafayette. Born in Delphi on Sept. 13, 1924, he was the son of John F. and Mary E. Sagers Vianco. In 1951, he moved to Lafayette. He married H. Dorothy Kautter in Cedar Lake on Sept. 21, 1951, and she survives. Mr. Vianco was a carpenter with Carpenter’s Union Local #215 for 50 years, retiring in January 1986. He worked in Pearl Harbor on the ships in 1946, for one and one-half years. He was of the Methodist faith. Also surviving is a sister, Genevieve H. Maclntire of North Fort Myers, Fl.
Services were March 8 in Lafayette, with burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
