Born Nov. 11, 1904, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late John Mellon and Laura Page Mellon Dixon. She was a homemaker and member of Double Shoals Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Ray Mellon; three sons, Charles Ray Mellon, Carl Mellon and Clarence Mellon; one brother, Edgar Dixon; and one sister, Nettie Mellon.
The funeral will be at Double Shoals Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
