Florenceville, 2nd Feb.--At the Kirk, Greenfield, 25th Jan. was witnessed the unusual sight of two funeral processions meeting at the same hour so that a single service was sufficient for both. The deceased parties were Mrs. Josiah Kinney and Mrs. Asa Kinney, both elderly ladies. Rev. George Howard conducted the service assisted by Rev. Williams.
Carleton Sentinel, Woodstock, N. B., 14 Feb 1885 in
Vital Statistics from N. B. Newspapers, v. 64 (#53)

The Kirk would be the Presbyterian Church. Rev. George Howard was pastor of the Centreville United Baptist Church.

The only use of Marinda's maiden name as Winship is in Edwin Wallace Bell's Kinney genealogy of 1944. All of the numerous children who have legible death records, consistently list her maiden name as Smith. From Kinney cousin, Jerry Kuntz, (48973256) [email protected]
