Lois Kenney's known life details are few. After her birth and baptism records in Sutton, she is next found in Early Vital Records in Warwick Ma. in Marriage Intentions to Samuel Shearman (Sherman) as his 2nd wife on 6 Sept. 1776. Warwick's actual marriage records are lost for this general period of time, but safe to assume they were married shortly thereafter. Lois and Samuel had 3 known children together, only known based on his listing them in his will as their being of Lois not his first wife. In Warwick's Vital Records, there are no recorded birth dates for these 3 and they were all girls. They are in order of age as he listed them as was typical in Wills of that period: Lois, Patty and Leaf.

Samuel's will was written on 20 March 1793, and went to probate on 4 June 1793. In his will he referred to his beloved wife Lois as being afforded a room in the family house for her care as she was in a "weak and helpless state" and for all comfort to be made for her, and their daughter Lois to care for her mother. There is no written citation in Warwick Vitals of Lois' date of death, but based on Samuel's dire description it's quite possible she didn't outlive her husband at all or only a short time after. While there is no stone not only for Lois but also Samuel, as well as his first wife Lucy and at least 2 younger children in the Warwick Cemetery, they all undoubtedly would be interred there.
