Mrs. Susan Flinchbaugh Grove
RED LION, Nov. 28.—Mrs. Susan Flinchbaugh Grove, widow of Adam Grove, died at 3:05 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Sue Grove, 209 North Main street, following a lingering illness. Death was caused by a complication of diseases and infirmities incidental to advanced age. She was 90 years, 3 months and 29 days old and leaves the following sons and daughters: William Grove, Felton; Henry Grove, Daniel Grove and Adam Grove, Red Lion R D 2; Fred Grove, this place; Mrs. James C. Tyson, Miss Sue Grove and Mrs. William Sechrist, this place; 22, grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Moore, York; Mrs. Catherine Hershner, Cross Roads, and Mrs. Henry Wineka, Spry. The funeral will be Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. A brief service will: be held at the Grove residence, after which the cortege, will proceed to Lebanon Lutheran church, near Felton, of which the deceased was a member for 70 years, where concluding; services will be conducted. The Rev. Dr. M. R. Fleming, pastor of Bethany United Brethren, church, this place, and the Rev. George D. Laird, pastor of the Felton-Lebanon Lutheran charge, will be the officiating clergymen. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. The funeral will be in charge of f Funeral Director Furnace B. Olewiler.
