Mike Osborne, 69, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with several illnesses. Mike was born in the Akron area, a graduate of Ellet High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He had worked in the Akron area until relocating to Florida in 1993. Mike has been reunited with his parents, Thomas and Marilyn Osborne. He is survived by his sons, Thom (Theresa) and Marc (Sheri); daughter, Megan; grandchildren, Katelyn, Dustin, Ian, Courtney and Ryan; wife of 23 years, Paula and her children; brothers, Joel (Phyllis) and Ted (Alina); sister, Sue Ralph; aunt, Sarah Bennett; uncle, Tom Jones and many nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dogs. Inurnment with military honors, will be held on Wednesday 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Pastor Erik Swanson officiating.
