Born 6/23/23 in Richwood, Ohio, died 12/2/14 in Akron.

He proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was married to his wife Marilyn in 1946 and has lived in the Akron area ever since.

He began his career in the banking industry at the Evans Savings and Loan Co. and spent 38 years through acquisitions, buyouts and name changes to retire from what is now Key bank.

He and Marilyn raised 4 children Mike (Paula) Osborne, Susan Ralph, Joel (Phyllis) Osborne, and Ted (Alina) Osborne. They have 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Over the years Tom belonged to many local civic, fraternal, and business organizations, he was named Fairlawn's "Citizen of the Year" in 1986 and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Tom's wishes were to be cremated and remains to be inurned at the Western Reserve National Cemetery where there will be a service held on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 at 1:00, friends and family welcome.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Valley Community Church, 5700 Taylor Rd. P.O. Box 1213, Norton, Ohio 44203
