Obituary - May Lucinda Wood, 79, wife of Frank H. Wood, prominent Amalga citizen, died at the family home following a long illness.

She was born April 14, 1877, in Lewiston, Utah, a daughter of George Riley and Dora Layne Allred. She received her education in the county schools and attended Utah State College.

Lucinda was married to Frank H. Wood November 21, 1896, in Lewiston, Utah and then became the first settlers in the Amalga area having resided there the past 58 years. Mr. Wood has become especially recognized for his leadership in irrigation development, and as a fancier of fine horses.
