Georgia A. Hoffman, age 71, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Funeral Services are 5:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. Kristi Kleinbeck will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends at Ritchay Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 PM. Burial at a later date at Pioneer Cemetery.
Georgia was born August 2, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to George and Lydia (Oertel) Schneider. She married Terrance Hoffman on December 2, 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2014. Georgia was a homemaker, who in later years worked at County Market in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Kwik Trip in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She enjoyed gardening and especially spending time with her family.
Georgia is survived by four children, Tami (Rick) Fritsche of Stevens Point, WI, Troy Hoffman of Menominee, MI, Heather (Ed) Flaig of Rudolph, WI and Hollie (Matt) Turner of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Courtney Fritsche, Caleb Fritsche, Alex Flaig, Nick Flaig, Adam Flaig and Macie Hoffman; five sisters, Shirley Peterson, Sylvia Kester, Betty (Harvey) Nystrom, Donna (Ole) Enkro and Judy Hanneman, all of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and sister-in-law, Carol Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terrance; three brothers, Arnold Schneider, Howard Schneider and Donald Schneider; granddaughter, Jordan Fritsche and in-laws, Richard Kester, Jerry Hanneman and Ella Schneider.
