GANADO - Robin Parks Polk, 50, of Ganado, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Robin was born on May 18, 1966 in Ganado, Texas, to Johnny and Carol Parks.
She graduated from Ganado High School in 1984 and continued on to Cosmetology School. After operating her own salon in Ganado for several years, she then attended Victoria Nursing School to become a LVN. She worked for several years as a nurse for United Healthcare. Robin married the love of her life, Matthew Polk on March 28,2017. With her love of music, Robin was a member of the Praise Band at First United Methodist Church in Ganado. Robin devoted her life to her family and taking care of others.
Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Carol Parks and Charles Peel. Grandparents, Wayne Arnett, Raymond and Jean Young, Oneeda and J.Y. Parks, and cousin Kaylee Kacer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15,2017 at 9:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Ganado, Texas, with services following at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Ganado Cemetery.
